Abstract: Microstructure evolution in heavily-cold-rolled (≥40 pct.) commercial-purity titanium was determined to be governed by a continuous-dynamic-recrystallization mechanism. This process was shown to be closely linked with mechanical twinning occurring at lower rolling strains
