Abstract: The features of the deposition of soil organic carbon on the national and regional scale in the context of global climate change are considered. Estimates of soil organic carbon storage during the accumulation of alluvium in river floodplains, deposition of pedosediments in negative landforms, and under conditions of soil renaturation on mining dumps are presented
