Abstract: Sociological diagnosis makes it possible to determine the characteristics of the “innovative propensities of workers in education,” that is, the degree of a worker’s readiness or predisposition to take part in innovative activity. Such propensities play a key role in the development and implementation of new things in the process of education; it is by means of bringing influence to bear on them that it is possible to influence its effectiveness, success, and quality
