Abstract: Microstructure and mechanical behavior of a new bcc Al₅Nb₂₄Ti₄₀V₅Zr₂₆ high-entropy alloy in the as-cast, coldrolled and recrystallized conditions were studied. In the as-cast condition, the Al₅Nb₂₄Ti₄₀V₅Zr₂₆ alloy had a single bcc phase coarse-grained (~80 μm) structure. After cold rolling to a total thickness strain 80% the alloy demonstrated typical of deformed metals tensile behavior with a short hardening stage and early necking
