Abstract: The hot deformation behaviors of the aluminium alloy PM2014 and metal matrix composite PM2014-20% Al₂O₃p, produced via powder metallurgy, have been compared by tension tests in the range of temperatures and strain rates of T=450-525°C and ε=10⁻¹⁴-1.1 s⁻¹ respectively
