Abstract: This paper deals with a wide range of models, new for geomorphology, that are based on the qualitative theory of dynamic systems. The following models are discussed: first, dynamic models of shore slope systems - a model of the interaction between wash denudation and accumulation zones by way of the intervening transit zone and dynamic models of undercut slopes; second, dynamic models of slope systems - a dynamic model of a talus slope, a dynamic model of gully processes and dynamic models based on the equilibrium concept of F. Ahnert
