Abstract: The paper focuses on the surfaces electrization of Z-cut single-crystal lithium niobate during the pyroelectric effect. It is shown that the properties of the electric current passing through the surfaces of single-crystal lithium niobate depend on the ground circuit, the rate of temperature change, and orientation of polar axes
