| Abstract: | This article considers the verbs of perception in the three Western Romance languages: French, Italian and Spanish. The objective of this research is the analysis of the polymode operation of the verbs of perception. The basis of polymodality is formed by the cognitive mechanisms of the perceptual human activity. The meanings of modi of the examined verbs are expressed in the mental,emotive terms, in terms of volition, etc. |
