This paper is devoted to modeling and optimization of gas transmission system GTS control in non-stationary gas consumption modes. The novelty of the research lies in the formal representation of the gas transmission system GTS in the form of a two-level scheme of nested models, which is reduced to the formalism of a hybrid automaton. At the same time, the mutual parameterization of the upper and lower level models forms the balance equations, and the dynamics of functioning is represented by a simulation schemeru
