Abstract

The article attempts to consider language as a culturally specific and socially conditioned phenomenon. People identify themselves and others not only through language, but also through behaviors typical of a given community. Social conventions and cultural norms of traditionally accepted behavior are the product of communities formed by native speakers. The language used by people reflects their identity socially and culturally. At the same time, language forms the culture and mentality of the individual.
